Unlike regular laptops, mini laptops or netbooks are smaller, easier to carry around, and most of all lighter. These are not the only benefits of a netbook, the highlight feature and what drives people to opt for them is the battery life, lasting a whole lot more than on a usual laptop. While you can use a regular laptop for around 3-4 hours at best without power, a mini laptop can go for more than double that time. We therefore decided to make a list of the best mini laptops available. The first netbook ever was the six inches wide Libretto 20 from Toshiba’s line of Libretto sub-netbooks, dating back to 1996 and weighing only 840g.
