The Fast and the Furious film series transformed Paul Walker in the perfect action actor, since the success of the series brought him roles in films like Takers, Vehicle Hours and 19. 1. Model and actor at an early age
Born on September 12, 1973 in Glendale, California, Paul Waker appeared before cameras at an early age as a model and actor in various television shows including Charles in Cargos, Highway to Heaven and Who’s the Boss.
2. He appeared in The Young and the Restless
He had an appearance in the soap opera The Young and the Restless (1973). In 1986, he made his debut in the comedy horror film Monster in the Closet, but the film that made him famous and removed him completely from TV series was Varsity Blues (1999).
3. His big love, the ocean
His first love was not acting, but marine biology, which he studied at a university in California. For him, Hollywood was just a means to achieve one of the things which he wanted most in life: a marine biologist degree.
Walker loved the ocean and surf was one of his favorite sports because it brought in a world where he felt best.
4. He loved cars
Cars were another great passion of the actor, even before his transformation into Brian O’Connor in Fast and Furious. “My father loved cars”, he said in 2001, in an interview to promote The Fast and the Furious. “I grew up with various publications about cars. This is what I read. They were always in our home. My grandfather was a professional racing driver for Ford”. His first car, as stated in the spring of this year, was a 1986 Ford Ranger.
He became a professional racing driver after he met Roger Rodas, who was with him in the car at the time of the tragic accident.
5. Rodas was his financial advisor
He met Rodas Walker in 2000, when the actor was conquered by Rodas’ way of driving of a former Porsche GT3 whose owner he was. The love for cars brought them together and they soon began to participate together in races. Since 2007, Rodas became Walker’s financial advisor, to help him carry on his passion for cars without this consuming all his financial resources.
6. Humanitarian events
