Great news for the next-generation of solar hardware! The taiwanese flat panel maker AUO has recently announced the release of the world’s first solar-powered touch keyboard. The keyboard, covered in a 2.1 mm thick solar panel, which also acts as a touchscreen, can regurarly save up to 20% of the energy used by a notebook. We don’t have a price, yet, for this device, but the future starts to look very eco!
