1. Patronas  Twin Towers

The Patronas Twin Towers are the largest twin buildings in the world. With their 452 meters in height, they were once also the largest constructions in the world and they are certainly impressive to this day. The 88-storey towers are sheltering the offices of the oil and gas company –Patronas-, but not only: many other companies have their offices in these buildings.  As you can imagine, they offer visitors a jaw dropping sight of Kuala Lumpur.

Another point of interest in the capital of Malaysia and another place which offers amazing views to the tourists is the Menara KL Towers, which stands almost as tall as the Patronas towers, at 421 meters. Except for the absolute beauty of its architecture, the tower includes a viewing deck at 276 meters, which is higher with more than 100 than the “skybridge” of the Patronas towers; certainly, place worth visiting.

3. Chinatown

One  of the things to do  in Kuala Lumpur is visiting Chinatown.  Situated on Petaling Street, the colorful Chinatown attracts its visitors with its promise to find cheap products of any kind and interesting souvenirs for the loved ones at home at laughable prices. This place, which never sleeps is awesome at night, so you may give it a try!

4. Batu Caves

These caves, are found 11 km North of Kuala Lumpur and represent, not only a touristic attraction, but also an important religious location for Hindu believers. The temple is made of three main caves and some small ones, featuring many beautiful statues both inside the caves and around them. Except for the main cave, called Cathedral cave, there are two other smaller ones at the base of the hill, the Art Gallery Cave and the Museum Cave, which should not be ignored by any tourist and which shelters numerous paintings and sculptures. While you mount the 272, macaque monkeys will join you and made your climb more enjoyable.

5. Little India

While in the capital of Malaysia, you may experience India at its best: little India is a place where there are plenty of things to do; Kuala Lumpur’s own corner of India is bursting with color, life and agitation. Your senses will be overwhelmed by the diversity of sounds, scents and ethnic garments that invite you to do one thing only: shop, shop, shop. Saris, Indian snacks, spices and souvenirs are very appealing for tourists and locals alike and this is an explanation for the fact that this place is crowded until late at night.

6. Central Market

Only a few minutes away from China town is another location worth visiting if you find yourself in Kuala Lumpur: the Central Market. Also known as Pasar Seni, this place is visited by all the tourists for the diversity of multi-cultural goods that maybe found here: souvenirs, traditional handmade objects, sculptures, clothes and many other beautiful items.

7.Chow Kit Wet Market

This is an exciting place for the more adventurous tourists who are not afraid to enter a little bit more in the Kuala Lumpur atmosphere. This is not such a popular touristic destination, and it is actually, less known to visitors, but it is a place worth visiting-though not for everybody. Home to one of the most sordid avenues, but also, to one of the most interesting bazaars, this is not a place for everybody.

8.Thean Hou Temple

One of the oldest and the largest temple in the Southwest Asia, this is a great place to visit because of his beautiful architecture, magnificence and many attractions. One of these attractions is, for example, is the herbs garden and the tortoise pond.

9. Sri Maha Sakthi Mohambigai Amman Temple

Guarded by two bhootangals, (the large statues seen in the photo), this is one of the most astonishing sights in the entire Kuala Lumpur, especially during the Indian festivals. Inside the shrine, one can see a enormous Bodhi tree and at its base, the statue of a meditating Buddha. This beautiful temple may be accessed from one of the largest malls in the city.

10.The Bird Park

While in Kuala Lumpur, one cannot miss the famous Bird Park. Among other things to do in Kualal Lumpur, visiting the Bird Park is a must! One of the largest parks in the world, it spreads on 20 hectares and is home to more than 3,000 birds from numerous species gathered here from all the corners of the Earth. This amazing place offers you the possibility to have yourself photographed next to magnificent eagles, or to feed the birds. One of the most beautiful places is the walk-in parrots aviary), where you will enjoy the company of more than 20 species of birds.
