We’re almost midway through 2016 and a multitude of your favorite shows are nearing the end of their seasons. Fear not, however, as it’s not all hopeless. #1 Preacher

AMC is trying to replicate the successful formula of its hit show The Walking Dead by premiering a new series that depicts at least as much as profanity, violence, and rawness as the former mentioned. Like the ultra popular zombie series, Preacher is based off a comic book and it depicts the deeds of a violent and power-loaded priest, his ex-girlfriend, and a vampire as they seek to challenge God.
#2 Wayward Pines

Night Shyamalan may not be the most liked director of all, but at least he’s still going. His latest work is the FOX series Wayward Pines, which is a mystery science fiction that tells the tale of Secret Service agent Ethan. After arriving to investigate a mysterious disappearance in the Idaho town of Wayward Pines, he suddenly wakes up after a car accident realizing he can’t leave.
#3 Feed the Beast

Another AMC production, Feed the Beast is an upcoming dramedy that has David Schwimmer star as Tommy Moran. Moran wishes to open a restaurant with his best friend, but things get extremely complicated because of their debt issues with the local Mob.

Did you ever think that Lifetime was capable of producing something other than cheesy soap operas? Then UnREAL will probably be a real shocker for you. The series is a dark comedy drama that tells the story of a reality director who is pushed beyond her limits by her boss to step over integrity in order to boost up viewership for the show.

True Detective’s second season was pretty much a flop, but that doesn’t undermine HBO’s talent at masterfully pulling off crime dramas. The Night Of will be the latest product of this particular genre. The miniseries is based off a BAFTA-winning British series Criminal Justice. If HBO learned something from critics, then there chances for The Night Of to be particularly engaging are really high.

USA can hardly be considered a major player in the world of renowned TV productions, but this might just change if they keep up creating shows of the caliber of Mr. Robot. Starring Rami Malek as the protagonist, the series is a mix of hacking groups, conspiracies, and brilliant intrapersonal struggles experienced by the paranoid and mentally afflicted protagonist.

Stranger Things is going to premiere this summer as one of Netflix’s latest projects. Not many things are known about the series, given that there isn’t even a trailer to help us grasp an idea of the concept. However, it’s known that it will star Winona Ryder as a woman investigating a young boy’s disappearance in a plot that will seemingly be blended with supernatural elements.

Yes, this is another high-school setting TV show. However, this time, it switches the camera over to the grown-ups – or even better, the ones in charge of the whole school. Vice-Principals is a comedy series that’s going to pin Danny McBride and Walton Goggins against each other in their quest to seize the seat of the vice-principal of the respective school.
#10 Marvel’s Luke Cage

Last but not least, Netflix continues to expand its Marvel-based series universe which was kicked off by Jessica Jones and Daredevil with Luke Cage. Once a convict, Mike Colter’s character is now both blessed and cursed with superpowers of the likes of super tough skin and great strength. All things considered, he chooses to atone by dedicating his life to fighting crime. Let’s just hope he takes this whole business better than Jessica Jones.
