Whether you want to surprise your loved one or simply enjoy some quality time together, here are 10 creative date ideas for this year’s Valentine’s Day.

The thing that matters most when it comes to Valentine’s Day is not the amount of money you choose or want to spend, the location, the surprise factor or the romance, but the person you spend it with. A simple game of bowling can be both romantic and lots of fun. Take your date out on Valentine’s Day and challenge each other to a great bowling game. To make things fun and a bit geeky, try choosing funny moves you have to do before throwing the ball like taking a bow or imitating an animal or choose funny names to appear on the score table.

Invite your date over to look up some interesting and yummy Valentine’s Day recipes and then go shopping together. You get to spend some quality time with your loved one while doing groceries shopping and while cooking some amazing dishes. It’s a win-win situation!

To boost the creativity this Valentine’s Day, organize an entire hunting game around the house. You can set up a map of the house and different goals like finding objects or doing funny stuff or dares until you can reach the next level of the game. You can actually hide somewhere in the house and make your partner search for you using a map and a game play.

If you and your partner or at least one of you is into sports then why not take advantage of Valentine’s Day to get in shape?
