We don’t know about you guys, but here are 10Awesome, we are all animal lovers. But when it comes to cute small dogs we have a hard time resisting to cuddle and pet them. Although all animals are beautiful and special in their own way, small dogs have something very lovable about them.

So, today we are going to talk about some of the cutest dog breeds in the world. We guarantee you will go “awww” when seeing these pictures.

1. The Pug

By far, one of the favorite dog breeds when it comes to small size, for many people. The pug is simply adorable with his little face, short legs and funny facial expression. The pug has a charismatic personality and he is very friendly. When it comes to flaws, know that they are pretty stubborn at times and … snore. But how can you stay mad at this face?

2. The Pom Pom

Very gentle and playful the Pom Pom (Pomeranian) is a living toy. His small size, fluffy fur and sharp face make him a real cute dog. Pomeranians are suitable for children as long as they are raised together at a young age. However, because of their hair, this breed is not recommended if you have very young children. Flaw: they can get pretty loud.

3. Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

Remember Charlotte’s dog in “Sex and the City”? Yeah, Elizabeth Taylor! You must know that his breed is called Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (King Charles so much the Cevalier Toy Spaniel breed that it was later renamed after him), a toy dog breed, but very elegant and active.

He never loses his master, being a loyal companion, moreover, does he not really like to spend too much time alone. Sometimes he can be noisy, but it is his way of standing out.

4. Bichon Maltese

You will have a hard finding a more enchanting dog breed than the Bichon Maltese. His intelligence and extroverted temperament make him a joy to master, and his beauty attracts many admirers. Also, the Maltese is a toy dog with a lovely and lively personality. The small size makes it easy to take care of him and he fits with everybody’s lifestyle.

5. Shih Tzu

Shih Tzu is a breed of small dogs, characterized by long, silky fur. Shih Tzu is one of the oldest breeds of dogs and the first dogs were raised in China. The name means in rough translation, “Lion Dog”. This name refers to the resemblance between dogs and how lions were described in Oriental art. Shih Tzu was recognized by the American Kennel Club in 1969. Cute or what?

6. Yorkshire Terrier

Do not be fooled by the small size of this dog. He knows how to defend himself. Puppies, especially before being accustomed to the daily routine, require a lot of your time. There may wake you up in the morning very early, sometimes in the middle of the night. But they are smart, loyal dogs that make a good companion to everyone.

7. Bichon Frise

Yes, this list needs to Bichons. He is an intelligent, cheerful, playful, sociable, active, sensitive and gentle dog. He is affectionate and devoted to his master, gets along well with children, but has a suspicious attitude towards foreigners. He gets along well with other dogs and other household animals. With consistent training, you can get the desired results because he is an intelligent dog and understands quickly what is required of him.

8. Beagle

The beagle is a dog breed medium to small, but fully deserved to be on this list. The initial goal for the Beagle was to smell prey, usually rabbits in hunting parties. These dogs have a highly developed sense of smell and tracking instinct which recommends them for tasks such as the detection of banned substances. Beagles are very popular as pets because of the size, temperament and lack of genetic health problems.

9. Affenpinscher

In general, the Affenpinscher dog breed is recognized as an affectionate and cheerful one, full of vivacity, but can prove to be very stubborn and gets bored quickly, so owners must be firm and constant in the commands they want done.

10. French Bulldog

He is an intelligent, brave, active, disciplined, cheerful, sensitive, sometimes stubborn dog. He is very affectionate and devoted to his master, he especially become attached to one person and he is also loving and tolerant with children. Sometimes he can be jealous if his owner gives attention to someone else.
