What did your favorite Hollywood actors and actresses do before acting? Well, some of them were very successful models.
1. Angelina Jolie
Jolie worked as a model in Los Angeles, New York and London since she was 14 years old, after which she appeared in music videos. When she was 16 she started to act in the theatre. in 2018 we will see Jolie in Maleficent. Modeling: Before beginning a career as a model, Tatum was a stripper, appearing in music videos (Ricky Martin’s She Bangs) and commercials (Armani, Pepsi).
Acting: Surprisingly, not his debut in 2006, She’s the Man, propelled to fame. GI Joe: The Rise of the Cobra did that, making Channing Tatum a real brand.
7. Kim Basinger
Modeling: After the Junior Miss contest in which she participated at the age of 16, Basinger won a contract with Ford Modeling Agency. She became known for the Breck Shampoo commercial, taking acting lessons during her modeling career.
Acting: Numerous television films brought her a fame for escort roles, movies such as From Here to Eternity, but the role of Bond girl in Never Say Never Again, launched her in the world of cinema. Later, she appear in the thriller 9 1/2 Weeks and in Tim Burton’s Batman. Modeling: Under the nickname of Marky Mark, he was one of the most successful models for Calvin Klein, appearing in commercials alongside Kate Moss.
Acting: Returning to his real name, Wahlberg gets an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor for his performances in The Departed and The Fighter, proving to be the man. He was part of the original formula New Kids On The Block.’
10. Milla Jovovich
Modeling: Milla started modeling since she was nine years old and already had a contract with Prima Modeling Agency. She was to appear on the covers of Vogue, Cosmo, Glamour and Seventeen.
Acting: Her early roles included Lilli Hargrave in Return to the Blue Lagoon and its sequel. Jovovich kicked it with her role as Alice in Resident Evil.
