The 67th edition of the BAFTA Awards of the British Academy of Film, which recently took place in London, gathered on the red carpet the biggest names in the film industry. Besides the big winners of the night, the Hollywood divas have captured the attention of participants with fabulous dresses created by famous designers. Femininity and elegance were the most important statements expressed by the style of the outfits chosen for the Sunday evening ceremony hosted by the Royal Opera House in London.Angelina Jolie, Cate Blanchett, Lupita Nyong’o are just some of the celebrities who have managed to impress again with the spectacular creations worn. So, here are incredible outfits at the BAFTA Awards 2014.

1. Lupita Nyong’o looking fabulous in green Dior

Lupita Nyong’o, who was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for the film 12 Years a Slave, has managed to gather numerous compliments for her dress. Kenyan actress aged 30 years opted for an emerald green dress, signed by Christian Dior.

2. Angelina Jolie in black tux

Angelina Jolie and her equally famous partner, Brad Pitt, drew all eyes in matching outfits. Although she did not wear a dress, the actress, aged 38, was a stylish appearance. Angelina was noticeable in a tuxedo made by Saint Laurant.

3. Cate Blanchett, stunning in Alexander McQueen

Actress aged 44 has accustomed us with impeccable outfits. So, the BAFTA Awards were no exception to this rule in terms of appearance. Winner of the prize for Best Actress, Cate Blanchett opted for an Alexander McQueen black dress, which she accessorized it with a silver pendant.

4. Amy Adams, dressed by Victoria Beckham

The actress nominated in the category for Best Actress for her role in American Hustle, decided to go all black, in a dress signed by Victoria Beckham. Not exactly Dior or Armani, but she looked impeccable.

5. Uma Thurman in Versace sexy black

The 43-year old actress opted for a simple black dress by Versace which helped her get noticed and be ranked among the most elegant and sexy appearances at the gala. And she fully deserves to be in this top. Doesn’t she look amazing?

6. Naomie Harris, sexy in Gucci

The 37-year old actress brought some color to a rather formal event by wearing a pink-red dress signed by Gucci. Sexy and elegant and the same time. A job only Gucci could do.

7. Helen Mirren, sophisticated in Jacques Azagury

Although she is very close to being 70, the actress manages to hide her age very well. At the event that took place Sunday night, the star was once again an example of elegance and sophistication in a black dress made by Jacques Azagury.

8. Samantha Barks, pure and simple in Calvin Klein

The young 23-year old actress has also a stylish appearance on the red carpet. Very suitable for her age, Samantha Barks wore a simple white dress, signed by Calvin Klein. The perfect way to show everybody that is is young and proud.

9. Michelle Rodriguez looking gorgeous in Emilio de La Morena

The gorgeous actress chose a green dress with leather applications and with a deep neckline, made by Emilio de La Morena.

10. Gillian Anderson in a vintage Balmain dress

Unlike her colleagues who wore very fresh designer dresses, the X-Files actress walked the red carpet wearing a vintage dress from the 1949 made by Balmain. She had to shine and be different and she easily managed to do so. Looking great.
