Some of us have extremely bizarre hobbies. We collect, for example, a lot of useless objects that we think are valuable. We don’t know what it is, maybe it is the sheer pleasure of owning a lot of junk in great numbers. Others find the thrill in doing extreme sports or saying yes to any challenge. But these hobbies can’t even hold a candle to what we have in store for you. There are some really sick weirdos out there, with even sicker hobbies. Let’s take a look at them:
-
Mooing
Yes, we are talking about the moos that cows make. We already know that there are a lot of people who like to imitate animals, but who would have actually thought that there are competitions in which you have to imitate the mooing of a cow?
-
Dog transformation
According to the many owners with infinite imagination, a dog can transform in anything. From tigers, to panda bears or little bunnies, you can apparently do whatever you want with the cute pet. There are already a lot of special competitions, especially in the US, where people style, dress and arrange their dogs in the most peculiar ways.
-
Collecting Navel Fluff
I actually find this very gross, but it seems that a guy called Graham Barfer finds this hobby interesting, and worth his time. He has an impressing collection of navel fluff from his own belly button. This hobby started in 1984, and he has actually made it in the Guinness Book of World Records.
-
Hikaru Dorodango
Hikaru Dorodango is just a fancy name for quite a primitive hobby. It basically has to do with mud and dirt. What happens when you take the water out of it, you cover it with thin particles and model it in order to obtain a shinny sphere? Some think it is interesting enough to consider a hobby.
-
Other bizarre collections
There are even some really weird celebrities who collect the most unusual things. For example, Angelina Jolie collects daggers. I guess a little of Lara Croft’s personality rubbed off on her. There are some people who collect Pokemon toys, bags, handcuffs. soviet calculators and even burnt food. There is also an old lady who knits woolen boobs, and she already has an impressing collect of 100 woolen boobs.
-
Cassette tape Art
This is actually quite an impressing hobby. When I was little I would take out all the tape from the cassette, tie it to a stick and run around with it. It seems that these people have found a better use for it. Cassette tape Art has become quite a popular past-time, and there are actually some very talented artists.
-
Carving and Sculpting small things
You’ve probably already heard of soap carving. As difficult and meticulous as it seems, there are actually some people who really enjoy doing this. But this is not all, there are a lot of people who carve intricate models into fruits, like melons for example, and there are even some who sculpt under the microscope. I’ve actually heard of a guy who creates microscopic sculptures in the loop of a needle.
-
Train hunters
Once again, we present to you a bizarre past-time. As hard as it might be to conceive, there are actually people who travel to different locations in order to spot the passing trains. They write down the model, the number and the company or destination. There are actually a lot of people who do this.
-
Car Tattoos
A retired, 71 year old Taiwanese man, who was bored out of his mind decided to start tattooing cars. He actually managed to tattoo his entire car, two trucks and a motorcycle from his personal collection. However, he had some problems with the police and his family and he had to stop. However, his grandchild promised that he will by the old man a bus when he grows up.
-
Playing Dead
I find this hobby extremely hilarious. The first man to practice was a 47 year old guy from the United States called Chuck Lamb. Apparently he likes to recreate murder scenarios and take photos of them. He stands, or lays in bizarre positions, with axes in his head, or full of blood, and then he posts the pictures on the web.
