Google is celebrating its 12th birthday by a new doodle. The birthday special Google Doodle is a painting of a cake by 89-year-old Los Angeles artist Wayne Thiebaud. His works include paintings of many cakes, mostly painted in the 1950s and 1960s. Google used this image with permission from VAGA, which is Visual Artists and Galleries Association.
