What could be nicer than to relax on a hammock in the shade of a palm tree and have a Pina Colada in your hand? Since not everyone can afford an exotic vacation, your dream can become a reality. For hot summer days, parties organized at home or for leisure time, here are ten cocktail recipes to cool you and provide you lust for life.
1. Beer cocktail
Ingredients:
- 4 tablespoons sea salt
- 6 limes
- 1 liter of cold beer
- Tabasco sauce or Worcestershire sauce, as desired, for serving
Preparation:
With little effort, you can turn a glass of cold beer in an impressive Mexican cocktail. Put 4 tablespoons of sea salt on a plate. Soak the openings of 4 high glasses in the juice of 6 limes and then pass through the salt. Place a few ice cubes in each glass, then pour the lime juice evenly in the 4 cups. Pour into each glass cold beer. Garnish with a dash of Tabasco or Worcestershire sauce, as desired.
2. Coffee Cocktail
Ingredients:
- 50ml of strong coffee, cooled
- 1 tablespoon Kalhua
- 2 tablespoons of whipping cream
- cocoa for decoration
Preparation:
Stir Kalhuar and coffee liqueur, then put it in a martini glass. Slowly pour the cream over using the back of a spoon so that it remains on the surface of the coffee. Sprinkle a little cocoa and serve.
3. Christmas Cosmo
Ingredients:
- 500ml vodka
- 500ml ginger beer
- 1l cranberry juice
- 5 lemon juice
- slices of ginger
- zest of 1 lime
Preparation:
Mix 500ml of vodka and 500ml ginger beer into a pitcher. Mix cranberry juice with 5 lemons and some ginger slices. Garnish with grated lime peel, if desired.
4. Cocktail with lychee and mint
Ingredients:
- 400g canned lychee
- 1 handful mint leaves
- 100ml vodka
- juice from 2 limes
- two hands of ice
Preparation:
Take 400g of canned lychee syrup and drain in a blender. Add the lychee, one handful of mint leaves, 100ml of vodka and the juice of 2 limes. Add the ice and mix in the blender until you obtain a syrup texture. Serve in glasses decorated with mint and lychee.
5. Kiwi Collins
Ingredients:
- 5 kiwis
- 100ml sugar syrup
- ice
- 500ml vodka
- 250g lemon juice
- 2 liters of mineral water
- kiwi slices, for serving
Preparation:
Cleans 5 kiwi fruits, then crush them in a jug with 100ml sugar syrup. Add a handful of ice cubes, pour 500ml vodka and 250g lemon juice. Divide into 10 glasses and fill with water, then decorate with slices of kiwi.
6. Tropical champagne
Ingredients:
- 1 handful of strawberries
- 1 kiwi
- 2 pineapple rings
- apple juice
- tropical fruit juice
- mineral water
Preparation:
Place in 8 glasses cleaned and halved strawberries, 1 kiwi peeled and cut into pieces and two cut pineapple rings. Fill glasses with equal amounts of apple juice, tropical fruit juice and mineral water, all cold. Serve immediately.
7. Gin and tonic with watermelon
Ingredients:
- 2 large limes
- 100g of watermelon
- Gin 250ml
- tonic
Preparation:
Cut two large limes into 16 equal pieces. Squeeze 2 pieces in each of the 8 glasses, then add the pulp. Take 100g sliced watermelon divided into 8 glasses and add a few cubes of ice. Pour 2 tablespoons of gin in each glass and fill with cold tonic.
8. Raspberry Champagne Cocktail
Ingredients:
- 400ml blackcurrant liqueur
- 1 bottle of champagne
- few pieces of raspberry in each
Preparation:
Pour about 3 tablespoons of blackcurrant liqueur in 8 glasses of champagne. Add a bottle of champagne slowly in 8 cups just before serving, place a few pieces of raspberry in each.
9. White Sangria
Ingredients:
- a few slices of peach
- 1 small handful of raspberries
- grapes
- a few mint leaves
- 1 bottle of dry wine or prosecco
Preparation:
Place a few slices of peach in each glass, 1 small handful of raspberries, a few grapes cut in half and a few mint leaves. Divide a bottle of dry wine or prosecco in the five cups.
0. Cherry Fizz
Ingredients:
- 50ml of cherry liqueur
- 50ml Kirsch
- 50ml of amaretto
- 100ml vodka
- 750ml of sparkling red grape wine
- maraschino cherries
Preparation:
Pour 50ml cherry liqueur, 50ml Kirsch, 50ml amaretto and 100ml vodka in a jar or in a cocktail shaker and mix well. Divide into six glasses and pour over 750ml of sparkling red grape wine. Add two maraschino cherries into each glass.
