We use it in salad, sauces and perhaps to clean the windows. But did you know that you can use vinegar in other parts of the household as well? Here are 15 incredible uses for vinegar.

1. It cleans the coffee maker

Mix two cups of water with a cup of undiluted vinegar and put the solution obtained in the coffee maker. Start it and repeat the process two or three times before you make fresh coffee.

2. It disinfects kitchen sponges

Overnight, keep the dish sponge in a bowl where you put some vinegar. Then let it dry before use. The same trick works with bath sponges.

3. It cleans the trails of wax crayons

If your kids have painted the walls with wax crayons, all things can be solved with vinegar. Dip a toothbrush in undiluted vinegar and rub the soiled area. It will work wonders.

4. It cleans traces of stone

If the vase remained stained, vinegar saves you once again. Drip undiluted vinegar over the traces of stone and cover the vase with a cloth and leave it like that overnight. The next day rinse well with warm water.

You can also clean traces of stone from the taps, wrapping a few paper towels soaked in vinegar around them. You can do the same with the shower or knob. Let the vinegar act for ten minutes then rinse.

5. It removes chewing gum

Children usually stick chewing gum on clothes, carpet, beds, sheets etc., but there is no need to panic. Heat one cup of undiluted vinegar, then with a toothbrush dipped in the hot liquid, rub on the gum. It will come off in not time.

6. It removes perspiration stains from clothing

If you have a shirt that was stained in the armpits, soak the soiled areas in undiluted vinegar. Leave on for 15 minutes, then rub gently with a toothbrush. Then rinse the clothes in warm water shirt.

7. It removes oil stains on smart phone

Mix half a cup of vinegar with half a cup of water. Spray the solution obtained on a microfiber cloth and clean your phone screen.

8. It protects the house from ants

Take a cloth or a sponge soaked in vinegar and rub the entrance areas in the house: windows and doorways. This will keep ants away.

Put a drop pf vinegar on the lens and wipe with a soft cloth.

If you have wallpaper on the walls and want to take it off, combine one part vinegar with one part water in a tray. Dip a paint roller and cover the surface of the wallpaper you want to take off, then peel. Easy!

11. It cleans wax

If the candle wax has dripped on the candlestick and you can no longer remove it, soak a paper towel in vinegar and wrap it on the wax. Then rub the wax off.

12. It removes unpleasant odors

To remove unpleasant odors from the refrigerator, soak a towel in vinegar and wipe the refrigerator with it.

13. It removes weeds

If you want to get rid of weeds, spray vinegar over them. Make sure you are careful not to accidentally spray the flowers you do want to keep in your garden.

14. It prevents mold

Mix one part vinegar with one part water and spray over the sink every time after you bathe.

15. It disinfects the cutting board

Take a cloth soaked in undiluted vinegar and clean the cutting board after each use. In this way, you will prevent the development of germs and contamination of food.
